if your after an original you can t beat westy s but if you after easy to fit , functional , well made and cheap i reccomend Rusty Lee s beds .
does the seat base lift up so you can store stuff underneath and whats with the three metal prongs! are they for support when you fold it down, how much did it cost
I've got one and the base lifts up, not sure what the tabs at the top of that bed are as I dont have them on mine, for the money they are spot on
Rusty lees beds are half the price of bluebird don t quote me but i think a full width is 160 you need to ask , the tabs are not standard u just fix a battern on the rear 29mm down to support the bed , fitting wise took me 20mins 10mins to build and ten mins to fit easy
Simmo if you haven't already check out below link there should be some pics of Lee's beds http://thelatebay.com/index.php?topic=7063
I have a devon one with added westy hinges. The Westy hinges have a catch built in so you don't have to lean right over and pull up the rear of the back part when you're turning it back into a seat. I can stand in the doorway and convert from bed to seat with one hand. Good if you have back probs. Do any of the other beds do this? I'm sure I heard of one type that does but can't remember what it was. IMO if your bed doesn't do this it ain't rock and roll. 8)
