  3. Bought a pair if AMC heads from GSF using 35% off. So £200 each. Was happy with that. They seemed to take the expensive things off then though.

Bought some NOS wiper and indicator switches for a 73/74 bay £50 off ebay bargain. Guess they don't count though

  5. Butty Bits throttle kit, was so chuffed with it, turned the throttle from a notchy nightmare to a smooth easy operation.

I loved it so much I hassled work and we now sell the majority of his range.

Simon is also one of the nicest most helpful blokes you could meet.

Buttys bits are very expensive! I made a Morks bits throttle linkage, it cost we £4.50 in total; steel was FOC, we had some left over from a project, the £4.50 was for four rose joints  plus we have spare rose joints in case the westy needs a linkage! :D

  12. They get cold in the winter, so you'll need to knit a handle warmer!

  13. With any luck I'll be able to say in a few days- heater.

ATM, the best purchase I've ever made, was complete wheels, brakes, suspension (-beam but with leaves) torsion bars, hub carriers, etc etc.. with a handy steering box pitman arm remover thrown in for £31. That was handy.

  14. Now that is a good deal!

  16. I have an anti-theft sock cover. Disguises shifter when parked but insulates against the cold this time of year.

  18. searched high and low for a plain window seal for the back door on my Double cab, all on line suppliers were out of stock or sent me the wrong thing. Got a split screen cargo door window seal from a local supplier for £7.99 and fitted like a glove and half the price of everything else

  20. Obviously needs to be a design statement not just any grey thing with holes in it....unless you have a patina'd splittie
