I'm going to keep an update on all the trips i plan on doing and do in here! for 2022 i plan to attend Ninove and into Spain in the Summer. beforehand Scotland on boxing day.. Anyway here's this weekend, i went to the lakes straight from work.. wild camped 2 nights around Keswick, ate in the pubs and hiked in the days, nothing too interesting to report.. wet. I'm currently training for Kilamanjiro in February. Sent from my ELE-L09 using Tapatalk
Nice one Sam. I look forward to hearing more about your trips. Love the snowy photo. We are in the Lakes a lot at the moment (not usually in the camper), so I'll keep my eyes peeled for you.
this weekend has consisted of: a wild camp outside of Keswick and an ascent of Skiddaw. Shopping in Keswick a Night at the National Trust Sticklebarn In the langdales and an overnight stay in their carpark.. permitted at 10.00. a night on Windermere... propex gave up during the week with a suspected Flame Sensor issue.. unfortunately doesn't work via a Thermocouple and is a posh electronic thing... propex suggest a new pcb and to fix as the voltages are fluctuating everywhere on the pcb connections.. very helpful talking me through all their procedures to find the fault. I've found a higher capacity one on ebay for about the same money so going to bid on that and repair mine in the long run and sell. Sent from my ELE-L09 using Tapatalk
another wild wintry camp... perfect performance from the van after last weeks adventure. Sent from my ELE-L09 using Tapatalk
coniston hall camp site. cheap if you're on your own, charge per person and vehicle charge. 12.00 adult + 2.00 for the van per night this is charged per person, lots of families paying an absolute fortune this weekend.. not sure if this is normal. but i usually stay on national trust sites if i have to and these are per van at 11.00 regardless of occupancy... anyway.. a wild, drunken weekend with about 20 others Sent from my ELE-L09 using Tapatalk
so, I'll kick this thread into touch once again I've driven 450 miles this week, Subaru powered of course, i cannot begin to even tell you how incredible this machine now is. fault free fun, around Yorkshire and Cumbria... i somehow over filled the tank one day but easily remedied. incredible weather, empty spaces and lots of gin.
