It’s the ‘ nowadays’ word that either, A, identifies someone as old and behind the times or, B, implies these modern ideas are pants etc. I get the idea you’re playing devil’s advocate at times which is always a good starting point for conversation, then you push the point which ruins it! Happy Easter, just done a 20 miler on the bike and been to cricket practice with the lads and got roped in to bowl as they were short and know I used to bowl. Now that’s tiring!

It’s been nice here today. Can’t do the cold with my leg issue so only nicer or warmer days for me I’m afraid!
