just wanted to thanks those at this show today. I wasn't able to make it but my SIL took my nephew to his first vw show and he LOVED it. he's just turned two and can differentiate between a splitty, bay and ratlook. He does prefer splits but then so does his auntie . it's a shame i couldn't be with him, but so pleased they went, he was so excited as they drove up and they're still there as he is saying goodbye to all the bugs and buses. just spoke to my sis in law and i can hear him in the background saying "bye bye splitty, bye bye bay" etc and folks are waving at him and beeping their horns. THANK YOU you have made an amazingly lovely first memory for a future vw owner - he'll have the bus after me, though judging by today he'll be changing the girly look as he's preferred the darker ratters with leds and big sound systems : wish i could've been there but from what i hear he was well looked after by all the owners
as they entered the show he ran ahead as he saw all the vw's. That's my boy - looks like i'll be getting back into the show scene again... just need to teach him to help me put the awning up
