Teslas in Norway.

  1. We are visting family in Stavanger Norway and you wont believe how many Teslas are driving around here!
    While driving from Kristiansand to Stavanger(3 hours) I saw 7 of them going in the oppostite direction to me!

    They are classed as environmentally friendly so the duties/tax on them are very low.
    Nice cars but they are not environmentally friendly due to the polution of the batteries when they wear out.

    Are there lots of them in the UK?
     
  2. I haven't see any over here Clive just the odd Nissan Leaf, which the missus wants, only because you get a govt subsidy of 5k off the price and there's no tax which when balanced up with the van is worth it
     
  3. Ain't no tax/duties what so ever. don't pay on ferries,,crossing bridges,no nothing. And they are also allowed to drive in the bus lines .
    They sold 1600 of them last month

    I went to Goodwood one Sunday. They had two race off the line. Total quiet, was a bit strange. One of then got totalled on the second bend - what a mess.

    Look nice though. :)
