1973 bay,lovely van,devon ,restored 5 years ago,engine overhaul in march.have had many great trips with no trouble,couple of minor spots on bodywork, anyone who has seen my van has said how nice she is. only putting feelers out at the moment as i want to upgrade to a T5. would be asking 10.000 or ovvvno.
With an advert like that this cant fail to sell! Mate, do yourself and other members a favour and put some decent details up.
sorry chaps,your both right :-teach me to do it quickly while popping home for a cuppa. right my van as i said is a 73 devon. it was restored nearly 6 years ago.2 new doors,front arches,new seals on doors and windows,tinted glass,stainless steel sun visor,retro 2 bar roofrack,new front seats. new upholstery in the back. its got 2 hammock beds in roof,3/4 rock and roll bed.cooker, sink not plumbed in,fridge come cupboard. painted old english cream.engine straight 1600. now i know nothing about engines,but have it serviced every year by a good mechanic. it went in for an oil leak where engine meets gearbox,so i said do anything that needs doing while out. it had a new clutch,points,condenser ,plugs etc. i am only trying to gauge any intres as im thinking about upgrading to a t5 as i can get to surf spots quicker at weekends. this is a great van,thats had loads of tlc.

also the van had new carb fitted, is lowered on the front only which gives it a great look and ride.just took it up motorway,first run in 7weeks and drove lovely.will get pics on soon as pos,and see if anyones interested. the vans in portsmouth.
