Time to see how many of you are wanting to go and what you think you'd like to do.
Camping is cheap at £7 a night and £3 for hook up. Pay for camping on arrival and we'll have a whip around to cover the barn (which is to be confirmed).

If you're a novice who can't even change the oil come along, if you're clued up on any part and fancy helping out come along, we can never tell what "experts" turn up as nobody charges for advice so there's no real guarantee they'll turn up, Zed never misses one and there's usually plenty of guys who know enough to at least point you right - plus half the time it's about having the confidence to do something with someone else there to tell you it won't explode - right?.
Don't forget any technical help/advice on the weekend is given free.
You will need something to lay on and catch oil drips as its a grass field, hook ups are but a few.
Any fire pits to be off the ground and grass protected.

Just copy the list and add yourself to it or let me know and I'll do it for you.
We will be there friday midday and a few others I'm sure.
If you want to make it a longer weekend just give Eddy or Jackie a call.

Can't make it this time I don't think but would recommend to anyone else who's thinking of going.

 

Can we just point out this event is not a latebay "sponsored" or run event, we are there as a group of individuals from many forums including this one, all attendees must be responsible for their own safety just as if they are working on a vehicle at home, the site we use is a normal campsite which is in use all year round, we get a deal on the camping charges because the site owner Eddie has a fair few vw's himself, you are therefore expected to act as you would if you went camping anywhere as a singular family unit and not as a total idiot who abuses the site, we do not want to take advantage of Eddie and the goodwill he shows us, the main aim (should you wish) is to work on your van with the verbal and sometimes physical help of others, don't come expecting one of the guys to do your jobs for you (unless you bring bribes) feel free to come and do nothing at all though if you just want a rest and like to park by a few other vans.

If i have got the kids and your passing this way with room and we have children type people there then i may come and help

I cant afford the fuel down in the daily and as always i have to cover my normal homelife before helping others
