Technology, what has it done for us?

Online Banking.

Without having to queue I can pay all my bills and feel miserable a lot quicker

 

Given us cars that get sulky and shut themselves down into limp mode because we are not trusted to look at gauges and make our own decisions.

 

Make people "feel" that they have to be able to be contacted anywhere,anytime, anyway.





On the other hand if we didn't have it, I wouldn't have been able to "meet" & "chat" with all the nice people on TLB. 8)

 

Well as pretty much everything I own is down to money I've earned from building websites for people erm.... everything!

 

given us mobile phones so our bosses can contact us anytime even when we are sick, or on holiday

 

The ability to take a picture of someone doing something embarrassing that can be sent to someone they love and for that loved one to then immediately contact that person showing their disapproval.

 

Make it near impossible to garner the information that is useful to us, from all the useless information - making us reliant on search engines and their 'sponsors' to give us what we are led to believe is neutral, when in fact a lot of it is directly aimed.

World has gone completely crazy,,I've even heard that some need a PC to get theire ac vw run properly

phones,cars,planes,tvs, houses, i could go on for ever

 

without it I couldn't have imported my bus from the usa from the comfort of my sofa

 

could you not have taken the sofa on a steamer across the Atlantic to choose your van ?
