i was a promo girl in bristol clubs for the relaunch of 20/20 when they were trying to shrug off the mad dog label

 

there really is only so much you should let people know!

 

i'd forgotten and it made me smile reading robos post about 20/20. it was a lifetime ago, i was a young student in devon trying to make ends meet. would get picked up from exeter services and taken to clubs in brizzle to dish out free booze and t shirts. great nights!

I used to fit carpets when I was skint - not quite the same!

 

actually, that's not strictly true.... we were paid to give out tasters of the 20/20 range and free t shirts...what we actually did was flog the shirts for a fiver each and anyone who bought one could get free yukky drinks off us all night! we made a mint and got into top clubs for free

 

i've done that too. or at least helped. had some terrible bruises from the knee-kicker i prefer my Marmite-kickers

 

@Robo and all, i'd imagine even if Eddy doesn't go to the Chinese one of us will be mobile enough to go it's not far from the site.

 

I was actually, didn't feel great last night went to bed about 9.45.

 

If anyone is doing their leisure electrics I have a big roll of the orange 3 core flex with me. Ill also have some wood.

 

referencing the thing we don't mention...... does anyone have a big gazebo

 

i'm sure the barn would be available (don't forget if you use it eddy's fuel and electric isn't free so you need to chip in a few quid) but i'm not a fan of sitting in there, I like to chat round the fire myself (until I slope off to bed early of course)

I am going to have a look about one tomorrow rick after lunch as I was thinking the same!
