I have received lots of sympathy so it was almost worth it, how well did your bus run, quite good or super sweet?

 

weirdly enough, the best it ever has...... i started it tonight and it fired instantly - i've rerouted all those wires it runs sweet, if i didn't know it had head faults i'd drive it 100 miles now.

 

good int I ? they run really nice when they are on song, mine was a bit caughy under 65, so stayed at 70 for most of the drive as it liked it, I think the points need adjusting so may go electronic, what electronic ignition did you fit to yours

 

i fitted one of those cheapo accusparks off e-bay delivered all in for about £50 made a great difference, i guess mine ran so bad when i got it that i never had anything to compare it to (i've never driven another one) that once rebuilt i'll be amazed?
