Just got home and checked tyre and it was the valve again. So that's two valves in quick succession after about 8k miles....time to change my valves on the others.

 

Bugger. Sorry to see that. Hope it can be repaired.

 

That's a bit of a bummer
Looks a straight tear so like Chris said it ought to be possible to trim it and reattach to the bar, I assume it's clamped into it

 

I'm pretty sure you'll be able to trim it as replacement canvases are a thing. You won't let that happen again!
