Home safe, but took a bit more time as pulling the pod kept the temperature up. Thanks to @pkrboo for solar advice and the bits - I am really pleased with the setup.

1st park run with @Beaver and a decent time posted, saved me from loafing in bed until midday on a Sat morning.

Also thanks to the kids, keeping 'daughter' entertained.

Aaah bum, after missing this one I'm deffo missing the next one as daughter gets married that weekend. I'll try to convince her that a field in Leicestershire would make a stunning venue but I suspect she'll stick with the fancy hotel thing

 

After you left Doug I drove up and had a big bag of rubbish and recycling from a number of us in one bag. I asked Mick where to put them and hand picked out the tins, bottles etc and put the rubbish in the bin. Mick did say that he had just had to clear his very full rubbish bin and I mean very full, so he may have got the impression I was dumping the rubbish and recycling together but he did see me separating as I only had one bag...hope this did not cause issues.

 

We have always been told to take our rubbish home with us, so saves us a walk up now, we just take it home… currently awaiting the tip run along with the excess garden rubbish

We had a brilliant weekend, Mr and Mrs Robo were desperate for downtime and “the field of dreams”…. Thank you Doug for organising don’t forget Alf next time!

I have an embarrassing large pile of bottles because the bar was not open so every beer I had became a used container.

I will be taking all my rubbish home as I understand our local recycling rules.

We’ve just had 3 weeks away in France, but strangely after 3 days of work, really needed this weekend. Maybe it was the 3 weeks in France with no brakes!!

Thanks Doug, we really don’t show our appreciation, but I’m sure we all appreciate your efforts.

 

A weekend full of Laughter and joy! And some chaotic jacking...
