I may not have mentioned it (!) but am off on a horrible work trip to Vegas (baby) and home via Colorado, will be gone a week ;D If you've been to Vegas (baby) and have some tips/ recommendations please post. Flying out tomorrow at 10am, so have a lovely day getting up at 6am, landing in Vegas around midnight UK time, and then at 4am I will be having dinner with 6 clients. Marvellous. We're booked on a helicopter trip out to the Hoover Dam and landing for champagne breakfast on the floor of the Grand Canyon, and then a Legends in Concert night at one of the hotels. Staying at the Mandalay Bay if anyone knows it. Whilst I am away please play nicely together children, and give Paley some moral support. He has 7 days of fending for himself and feeding/washing/walking/controlling the dogs & teenager...must check all the insurance is up to date ;D
that helicopter trip is spot on,done it 3 times if its the legends show at stratosphere then its pretty good. my advice, dont sleep, just go out and enjoy it. shadow bar at caesars palace is a cool bar. circus circus steak house is the best on the strip, be sure to book as its always busy. the new york roller coaster is also worth a blast, and if you're feeling really daring do the 3 rides on top of the stratosphere.
God that sounds awful. Try and make the most out of it and take a few pictures so you can show us how bad it really is.
^ as damaged suck says, especially for the helicopter trip, take a jumper for that. you don't actually need to venture outside much. taxis and the monorail take you most places.
I stayed at The Manderlay Bay this time last year. It's an amazing hotel. Vegas less so. The Grand Canyon is awesome.
go up the stratosphere tower.... 8) great views and some rides if your feelin daring.. http://www.youtube.com/channel/HCifkWNcllIiU?feature=relchannel id di the two rides that were there when i went the hotshot and the roller coaster have a good time got anyjobs at your place...
