T25 Seats

  1. Hi,
I need to replace my passenger seat in my 1979 bus, I believe that my drivers seat is from a T25 as it has a foam base rather than being sprung with a sisal cover. My question is, will a T25 seat fit in my bus on the passenger side?

Any help would be gratefully received.

  2. If you weld the runners on, yes.

  3. If the drivers is from a T25 then take it out and try it on the passenger side! They are interchangeable ie you can swap them from one side to the other!!!

  4. As my van has been tucked up for the winter I had forgotten how the passenger seat fits in. I now remember that it is hooked at the back of the seat and on the bulkhead behind the seat. Therefore I now think I have answered my own question.

Thanks for all of your input on this.

The quest for a bit more comfort goes on.

  5. You could just fit runners on the passenger side. They do come up!

  7. im sure jkampers sell the runners
im looking at this on my 1977 bay
found some on ebay they look identical to mine but cant see the runners
i can weld so i gues s i could swop runners and burn the covers again lol! >:D

  8. I had a pair of runners from a T25 welded on to my passenger side (standard seat is hooked in) and they work well with late bay seats (doing things the other way round :) ).
