    1) Do you want your Wife and Kids to love you forever?
    2) Do you want a finished van ready to start touring/camping?
    3) Do you want a beautiful Van with no work needed?
    4) Do you want a van with 12 months MOT?

If you have answered yes to any, or all of the above then I have the Van for you.
My wonderful Type 2 1974 RHD Westfalia (Vegas) I have had Vegas since 2004 and put her through a full refurb where all rot was chopped out (and yes there was a lot) and all, I mean all panels were replaced I have since spent a fortune on her over the years, let’s start with the main bits:

All original Westfalia Continental camping interior, the original orange westi fabric has been retained and is in great condition but covered with a beautiful blue hard wearing material so if you wanted the original you would just have to take the covering off.
The cooker has been removed to allow a 12v 19” TV/video to be installed that folds away when not in use but can be viewed by any passengers whilst driving(great for keeping the kids quiet whilst driving to Cornwall), this is run from the leisure battery so will not leave you stranded.
3 cigarette chargers are also positioned to allow the running of ancillary items, also powered by the LB.

    All New fitted during refurb:
Front panel complete from windscreen down.
    USA rust free cab doors
    Complete floor
    Rear wings complete X2
All sills replaced (inner middle and outer sections) X2
    Rear valance.
Heating overhauled, upgraded and working well.
    Leisure battery.
    Internal LB fusebox.
New door and window seals installed during refurb.
    Replaced in 2011
    Rear chassis rails X2
Rear engine panel, interior and exterior
    Rear engine lid.
    Rear battery trays X2
    Bodywork:
Vegas has been stripped re-prepped and painted every 3 years, with any issues fixed during this process, she now comes with a beautiful baby blue bottom half and VW Pastel white top ready for summer 2013.
She lives in a dry garage and is put to bed every winter so she looks very good and will remain that way for years to come.
    Running Gear.
    Engine:
16,00cc AD code reconditioned unit installed prior to me buying the van, I always intended to upgrade this but it runs so well that there is no need, serviced every 3,000 miles. This is a strong engine that takes me to Cornwall and back (600 miles) twice a year and doesn’t miss a beat, happily cruising at 70mph on the motorway.

    Gearbox:
Replaced gearbox in 2012 due to the original jumping out of gear in 1st, current gearbox is smooth and changes up and down well. New clutch and pressure plate installed during swap as well as the usual seals and gaskets and clutch cable.
Over the years I have replaced all the suspension, drive shaft boots, brakes, brake pipes, handbrake cables, and heater cables.
Sound proofing fitted over engine bay and 5 good tyres, replaced last year with very few miles on them.
The pop top roof works well with some minor cracking on the front bolts, the zip in the pop top canvas needs repairing but I will try to get this sorted before any sale. Colour coded curtains and tie backs
Rear full width rock and roll bed works well and has seatbelts fitted for the kids.

Overall a hassle free bus that has been loved and maintained regardless of cost since I have owned it. Selling to fund a family holiday to Disneyland Florida, (the only reason the kids have allowed me to sell her)

I’m sure there is loads I have missed but am more than happy to have a chat about my van and would welcome you to come and have a look and bring anyone who knows their VW’s to check it over. There are a load of spares that will be included if I get the right price.
If you buy this wonderful iconic, retro van you are buying into a lifestyle that will be enjoyed for years to come.
Just to add, it has a stanless steel exhaust.
The Van is priced to sell and will be visiting Santa Pod and Stanford Hall if you would like to come and view but be quick, this is a great van for the right money and any serious offers around £12,500 will be considered.
