Syncro - let’s off-road!

Almost identical to mine - 240 nm at 2000 rpm.
You will like - my trans is still in one piece so far.
MPG is another story of course, you are going to win that one by a large margin.

 

Back from the body shop and much improved around the rusty hole….




As always the way - and it is bldy true - you spend a bit on the van and it Marmites itself - this time just the aux belt shredded itself while out and about. Got home and pick one up and fit in the morning….

Great family event with good company.
It's very professionally run with induction to off road driving such as performing failed ascents and cross slope driving. No pressure to do anything, just being there for the respect of the marque..

 

I was hoping that I could go to the Syncropendence meet but we have had a load of camping trips booked in for a while and there was a clash of dates - I’ll keep an eye out for when the next one is. Would be good to have a play.

Hmmm - some careless Nigel hit my van today and bent the front bumper end cap into a jaunty angle - I have used a claw hammer to batter it back into an approximate representation of how it once looked-

Hope it scratched their cars paintwork.

The old bearings and roller were well stuck on the erm thingy so i used the grinder with surgical precision to get the remain off.

Handy recycling bin…




New bearings and roller job and it’s another thing tucked off the list.

It’s scooby engined with the radiator mounted on the front.
it’s certainly going to need some power to turn those wheels
