So, booked the van in the garage today for a tune up and oil change (could do it myself but need the stamp for the engine warranty) then got a phone call saying the MOT ran out 28th May. Typical organisational skills from me. So I told the guy to run it through and see how she does. Well she passed and only has a few advisories. Breaks are Marmite (knew that) and a couple of bits of minor corrosion. Result. Here to another year of motoring. Even got an ale in the fridge to celebrate.
Must be said. It's good to know that she's alright. I even tell my mot man to be brutal and poke n prod where he shouldn't. If he finds something then I'd rather fix it quick before it becomes to much of a big job
A quick mot is the best, less time worrying about it ,I did it with a customers van, took it in for the re-test without him knowing ,a big thing for him ,bread and butter for me..
