Super VW Festival - 2014 - Le Mans !! 25, 26 & 27th July 2014

Discussion in 'Shows Events You've Missed unless you went' started by Jeremie, Jan 16, 2014.

  1. I've not seen posted anywhere else. Looks like the big french VW event will be at Le Mans this year.
This promises to be epic !
The show is organised by the french equivalent of the Volksword (Super VW magazine).
They've only just started selling tickets. The campsite is on the grounds of the Bugatti Circuit and there will be a traditional lap of the circuit.

Who's up for a journey to Le Mans ?

For those in the South East it's about 100 miles from Caen and there are crossings from Portsmouth to Caen for about £100 ...

  2. I've raced at le Mans, the atmosphere during the bike 24 hour is CRAZY!
Easy enough to get to from the ferries, could be a grand weekend out, definitely on my 'possibility" list. :)

  3. We are thinking about going, 3 bays from Oslo.

  4. Three bays or three days to get there,
    Steve

  5. A week or so to get there, 3 bays. Gettin there is a hollyday in it selves, so is going back home:D

  6. I too have race at Le Mans, better at night when there are fewer lorries on the road
    :D

  7. Saw this one as well. Would love to go to Le Mans. Was looking at doing Le Bug Show at Spa this year, which is about 6 days later. Bit much to come home and then go back out again. Not sure if staying out is an option !!

How long is Portsmouth to Caen ??

Anyone done both shows, and know which is best?

  8. don`t forget to carry your gold, frankincense, and myrrh...:D

I'm looking to go to Le Mans but not decided if I want to go to modern race or classic. I'm also waiting on some friends to see if they want to go.

I'm not to bothered about being in a VW crowd though

  11. I've booked my tickets. Not sure whether I'm going for a short ferry crossing or a long one ... Yet!

I'm a native French speaker so happy to assist ;-)
