Ok so my boss has called me about the usa job offer, it appears there is a rule that means they can not offer me the job unless they pay for the move (which they are not prepared to do) my only option is to move out there as a consultant(as i am now) then apply for the job, but on a positive note they have offered me a pay rise every cloud and all that. Not at all happy with the decision though, just gotta decide i the risk is worth it !
were you willing to pay for the move yourself anyway? why not carry on and pay for the move and bill your company something like 99p as long as they get a bill and you get a receipt for the move everyone is happy......or is it not that simple as most things never are good luck whatever you choose, like others said you may regret it if you dont seize the day
go for it, the us has so many rules for employing non citizens, if they want you bad enough, there'll be a way
Its not that simple, i was willing to pay and also to pay for the green card (again) i already have one but im pretty sure its expired.... Its one of their rules about not bringing none employees into the country, but uf they make me an employee first then the rules dictate that they would have to pay for the relocation..... The up side is we can go when ever we want where as if i got the job offer they would have expected me there within a few months
Haha some funny responses there, ricks already asked for first dibs on my bus, mountain board is for sale if you are interested woody, my job here in the uk will be available when we do go, ill do the interview ;-) I will be sourcing buses and parts when im there, and its not if but rather when
What rules? The ones you get imposed on you but then those that impose them go and break them any way but still have the bare faced cheek to think its ok and then give you a load of marmite when you point it out?
Just remember that when you are asked, the correct box to tick on the form that questions: Are you now or have you ever been involved in terrorist activities - is NO ^-^
