I've recently fitted a heated windscreen in my bus and although I did drill some holes in the dash for the wiring, I did make a slight tactical error as the screen has 2 flat ribbon type wires each side of the screen with plugs on the end of each ribbon. In hindsight 4 really big holes which I could then slot the ribbons straight into the dash would look far prettier than having plugs and wires on display like I have at the mo. My stupid question is, can I remove the front section of the dash( the section with the vents in) or will I have to take the whole dash out to re drill the holes?
i am sure you can take the front part of the dash out separately , i will have a think how i did one years ago unless someone beats me to it !
It looks like you can with the screws on the top, but having never removed a dash before I didn't know if the font section is attached to the dash underneath as well as on the top?
