I liked this topic from the old forum so thought I would start it up again with my 'stupid' question of the week. I am trying to trace through procedures for cooling the engine and had a quick look at the chokes last night, my near side choke butterfly is very loose, a little tap on it will open it quite happily. The off side choke is very stiff and sitting horizontal (closed) but this is very tight and takes a bit of budging to get it to move, the question I guess is, which side is right, or are they both ok? Didnt know if the Auto choke would expect something like this. If one is 'bad' which one is it and whats the likely cause?
