Strung Up ? yes please!

I was lurking about on a.n.other bus site just a min. ago , and a poster opinioned that on this site "you get strung up for your capitalist and/or religious views", now you lot have obviously been keeping summit from me ! strung up for choice of oil maybe , but politics and religion ? can" t say ive noticed so for the record ,in my opinion Capitalism is the only game in town ,at the mo. and religion ? soz, deffo not going there ! (thou did tell my sis I would appreciate a Humanist funeral (<clue!) perhaps poster got TLB mixed up with Vzi ? I have perused some awesome bunfights on that site .(hope no one from Vzi is reading this !)

 

I got strung up once on my view of the worst cars/ drivers on the road. I stated that in my experience that the worse cars were peugeots cos their headlights seem to be set high therefore dazzling me in the rear view mirror at night and I also said Black Africans were the worse drivers on the road cos they were so slow and careful they caused more problems. I stated that as a fact and not some racist view. I'm far from that but somebody wanted to score cheap brownie points off me. Others stated old people/ lady drivers but they weren't deemed to be oldist or sexist but mention skin colour and all of a sudden your a racist. Hypocrites.
Maybe capitalist and political views aren't deemed worthy of somebody's cheap attacks.

 

The only thing I've strung up was a cheapie awning from a shower curtain, magnets and two washing line poles. It didn't work in a light breeze so haven't bothered since.

 

i think that more a vzi problem,
tbh everyone gets on prety well here...

Plus I agree ,old people, women and anyone who isent white are by far the worst drivers

 

You have to be so careful what you write online these days. We live in a suspicious world. Big Brother is watching.

 

It was mentioned on here a short while back that TLB didn't do religion or politics as the threads can end up being a shouting match. I remember this due the fact that Mrs TW is a priest and asked if I was banned from mentioning her.

PS

She who can't be mentioned dose a lovely non religious funeral as well if your interested.

As for politics I think the sooner we send them all back to were ever they came from the better.

Its probably someone whos views were disagreed with and rather than discuss in an adult, rational way they spat the dummy out. Strung - up indeed. Post a link then we can go and string him/her up on that forum. Were nice here even if certain indiviaduals dont like it if they arent agreed with all the time.
