    Just kidding earlier Parablot.
I don't think either of can afford to drive the buggers anyway, but press on - times may change. :) Feckin sick of the sight of mine - I just see toil.

  2. I am a newbie but I compare my wife to my bus !

You love it one minute hate it another minute.

Next minute shes stripped down ready for a makeover !

You get your "Bank Statement" shes looking better

    BUT

You hate her again, for me its a vicious circle.

And I still you persevere, what else what you do ::)

  7. I can relate to that mate,

I've not fallen out of love with mine yet, but that excitement and warm glow from the 'honeymoon period' has gone

This is the first vehicle I've bought but never driven, so usually you get in drive it and the love stays for a bit longer

I also know I'll miss the restoration when its finished (but have plenty of ideas for the next 3 ;D)

I'm hoping that once its on the road it will be like buying it for the first time all over again and I'll have another long honeymoon period, and I'm sure you'll be the same. The last few bits always seem to be the hardest to get motivation for. I'm the same for DIY I can start big projects but by the time it comes to finish the little bits at the end I loose all motivation.

You've put so much hard work and effort into the bus, just a little more and you'll be enjoying it with your family, chilling in the back and camping out.

    if that doesnt work then............................

..........Dont forget you owe it to your family that they should have the chance to enjoy it with you too, as you've spent all this time on it ;D .........emotional black mail over >:D

  8. i though this post was going to be about your feelings towards another man/animal ...

but in answer to your post - yes i have had times i totally hated the hell out of my van - but once you start driving it you will love it again

  10. Now then - it's a gorgeous sunny Spring day outside, you have a nearly-completed bus on your drive, what's not to love?

As soon as you're a half mile down the road in it, with the windows down and the sun in your eyes I guarantee you'll be smiling.

And let's hope you're still smiling by the time you're at the bottom of the road  ;D

  11. I have found a solution for you my ole cheesey quaver !!

I've just found a hole in the floor of my bus so if you get bored now that yours is almost finished you can come and fix mine >:D

Joking aside you'll be fine once it is MOT'd and the sun is shining !!
