There’s been an alarming increase recently in the purchase of dodgy Gallic tin boxes. This has to stop. Action may be taken against TLB-ers who continue to buy these contraptions. Remember, these are built by a nation to whom shrugging, public urination and running away from Germans is second nature. That is all.

Brexit is running away from Germans too you know, and we all have forgotten that the EU is there to stop the German tendency to try and run the show. This list of French vehicles now includes e.g. Jeeps and Vauxhall of course. And my now departed Peugeot 306 was actually built at Gaydon. It was sad seeing the last car off the line at the Coventry motor museum. My 306 was falling to bits. I remember depressurising the coolant system and topping it up just prior to the part-exchange valuation. But maybe one reason older Peugeots and Citroen are popular is that the galvanizing of the non plastic body panels actually works on e.g. the 307 so all the wee has no effect. Cable ties and string hold the bits on that fall off, and a set of Torx sockets tightens up the bits they left loose in the factory...
