    Is this 74/79 later column had 27mm socket and maybe M16 thread[​IMG][​IMG]

    Earlier ones had tapered splines, later didn't. If the steering wheel was a Illegitimate child to get off, needing pullers, its likely an early. If you pulled it off by hand, its the later one.
