Bazza order seals from simply bearings I think they are 22x32x7 and 28x38x7. Measure if that's close that's correct. Just looked on my purchase history and they were on there. Look to big for input shaft seal ??
I too looked at Simply Bearings and found it in my order history, along with the bushing I used to refurbish the worn out output shaft bushing in the cover.. which I hacked out with a Dremel and a lot of good luck during a 3 hour long session of doom.. 5 minutes in passed a point of no return, so had to fix it , grinding through the casting to make the hole bigger amd still circular. Not going in a How To as if I tried again on another box I would wreck it instead.
@Barry Haynes mine has been leaking for about 3 years. I cleverly carry a can of steering box oil wherever I go. . I was planning to fix it but the puller bit sounds like I may need more strength and a special tool so I will carry on as before.
Graham at midland prototype bay does early steering box rebuilds. Give him a ring and I’m sure he will furnish you with seals and info if needed.
It can be done with a 6 inch three leg puller and an 18 inch breaker bar, at least on my bus. Doable at Techenders if it doesnt keep raining..
