If you're self sufficient then you can stop at The Station Inn next to the RibbleHead Viaduct. They allow campervans to stopover in their carpark - no obligation to eat, but at least have a drink and ask permission too.

The pub does a few ales and the usual lagers and ciders - at the timeof writing the owners have just taken back control of the pub from a rouge landlord who let the place get run down and then sodded off to runa pub near Skipton. They should be doing food again, soon, inlcuding pizza with their new Pizza Oven.

Lots to do around there - it is well located for the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge; seeing steam trains going over the viaducts; lots of walks; mountain biking and road cycling.

No website running at the moment, but they do have a FB page
