Starting engine after top end rebuild

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

    DRLAs - only one emulsion works, proved a zillion times.
    DRLAs - 180 air every time.
    DRLAS Fuel level 5-6mm every time.
    Idle airs - it's a brass lined hole in the carb, not adjustable.
    DRLAs - 55-60 idles every time to match the air hole.
    What does that leave Mike?
    It leaves venturis and the appropriate main fuel jet to match that venturi and here what matters is that under high load they are not so lean to burn your pistons and not so rich you waste fuel.
    They are simple carbs though they look complicated and have lots of fiddly bits, springs and ball bearings.
