Stainless quiet pack V vintage speed

I seem to remember JK do a stainless stock for a 1600 ...

Indeed someone did make a replica style late bay silencer but not seen one exactly like this in yonks. This was mine after about 10 years of service, tarnished but still 100% sound. It was fairly quiet though maybe a bit tinny sounding compared to a decent mild steel system.

 

I did think I had seen a standard stainless item in the past, but couldn't find one at JK, Heritage or Machine 7, so assumed I had imagined it.

Can you remember where you got yours @Devon233 ?

 

Sorry, it all gets a bit vague before about 2005 . Pretty sure I picked it up at a show, it may actually have been from JK but can't be sure of that. I do know that in more recent times JK were selling this style...

But don't know of anyone currently stocking these.

I know. I’ve gone back to the heat exchangers, as I had a spare pair. I’m just ‘making’ something to connect them up to the long tube, as my ‘Y’ piece rotted and fell off…
