Thinking of fitting some spotlamps to the front of my late bay - pair of round ones above the bumper. Can anyone post any piccies of spotlamps fitted to their bus and confirm the size of them and how they have fitted them (I assume by drilling though the bumper rather than the deformation panel). Many thanks.
Got mine off ebay for about £30 fitted through the bumper - they are angel eyes and I blew the outer ring when fitting. they are a year old and already pitted which I polish off with wire wool when I can be bothered - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-CHROM...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4d0ae0600a
the previous owner had fitted KC Daylighters on my bus and very nice they are too...no pics, as the vans in storage BUT because big spots need proper fittings, he mounted them in the deformation panel in a quite ingenious way: two small cut-outs under the D panel (big enough to get a long socket in there) You could use a hole saw and blanking grommets. two holes in the top of the D panel, and two corresponding holes in the top face of the bumper. May seem like a lot of faff just to fit two spots but they don't budge or flicker (like those kn*bs you see driving around with poorly fitted driving lamps) If a job's worth doing.... Bright as f*ck Paint the housing to match your bus....they'll look wicked
There's a nice pair of Cibie Super Oscars on fleabay at the moment £90....much cheapness for what you get....(copies mind....)

No pics but a couple of years ago I bought some 4" chromes and they rusted within 12 mths. Now got some 5" stainless steel and they're much better even if they do have 100w bulbs!!
