  1. OK tech gurus. What are the following parts, how do I get them to fit and can I manage without them?

more clues to follow if needed.

rickyrooo1 Hanging round like a bad smell

looks like engine tin to me so my answer is no don't live without them, and i can't even fit my own so ask a clever man like idid.

  3. Silver

    Silver Needs points/will pay!

Door lock covers. Inside cab doors.

  4. I don't recognise those, but it looks like a moulded plastic cover to me - maybe from a seatbelt cover or something to fit onto an optional extra under the dash?
    :)

  5. There're the rare M878 back scratcher that was fitted to the back of your seat to scratch your back.
Or looking at the angle of the dangle on the end it could be the M879 butt scratcher.

  6. Silver

Do I have to tell you how to fit them to win the points.?

Take door to bits, stuff arm in and fiddle for an hour. ;D

  7. They are indeed the cab door lock covers (about 4" long, bendy plastic?). Good job you didn't refit your doorcards...or did you <smirk> :)...?

  8. and the winner is.............(drum roll)..........Silver (cymbals).

I undid my door locks and pushed them back into the door when I painted the frame, then when I came to screw it back together, these plastic bits dropped out. I've struggled but I can't work out how to get them the stay in place and there's too many other fiddly jobs to fix.

The doors seem to work so what are they for?

  9. They keep unspeakable filth out of your locks.
