    No longer needed ...
    Thank you all :hattip:

There's this gearbox here in Gloucestershire.
It would like to be in Berwick by early to mid Feb ...

Edit: currently looking for someone to go from Sheffield towards, (if not all the way to) Berwick.

Techenders is looking too late, and I could also get it to these various places as a starting point:

    Bristol
    Gloucester
    Coventry
    Oxford
Various points along the M4 as far as the M25
and then off the M25 as far as Junction 23
If anyone is going even part way I'd like to hear about it!
"Come on TLB do your thing!"
    Non-cash gratuities await :)

    Crikey! ....
    Oxfordish right?
    Then Sheffield?
    Any Geordies visiting?? :D

  4. Blimey, great effort getting it as far up as Sheffield, but surely whoever wants it can get down to Sheffield and pick it up themselves?

Nottingham was too far, but Sheffield might not be ... and I would have thought Newcastle a shoe in, but thought I'd put out the call and see who's out there.
(There's some damaged-in-transit history otherwise I think we'd be talking about paid couriers.)

It's a 3 rib so easy for two folk and possible for one depending on build and strategy :)

They're actually not that big ... Someone will correct me I'm sure but I'd say 40cm diameter at its widest point, and about 750mm long?

  16. In northern terms, it's the size of a big flat cap.
