Ha ah, this is one of those "it's sh*te but good at the same time" ones, I always liked the way he sang "born". I can't agree about Two little boys @jivedubbin , it's an all time classic, and the performer USED to be such a hero chez JT . But for summat that truly sucks, even worse than Lady in Red and anything by James Blunt ( who I think is a pretty good egg really but his voice and his music makes me want to hurl), how about this, it's just excruciating.... Who in the name of all that is sacred bought this?
NO NO NO NO NO! I think the money from that went to some land mine charity or summat didn't it? That aside, it is truly awful, a brilliant song by him and Bernie, turned into a maudlin pile of cack. Goodbye England's Rose? Goodbye someone who was kind hearted but then a lot of people are, and I never knew you anyway so don't expect me to grieve as if I did know you....Never underestimate the ability of the British public to buy into that kind of sentimental clap trap......
