I was in a bad mood last night

I went into work got the keys for my truck and went up the yard to fetch it , i found it abandoned at a funny angle , lights on draw bar hitch up and parked in such a way i couldn’t easily get in , i guessed someone had gone to use it , realised it was mine and dumped it in a embarrassed rage , anyhow i got in and found some keys for another run ( we always take the spares to outbase motors ) , while i was hooking up my trailer the gateman ambled over and said “ Johns left his keys in your truck ,can i have them and he will come back for them ) i told him to tell him to go forth and multiply .

Ten minutes later John came back in to get his keys , i asked him why he had abandoned my truck like that and made it difficult for me to get in , he told me it was the company truck not mine and he would do as he liked !.

i would never do that to my mates , and i just hit the roof , my other mates had to pull me off him – then when he composed himself they laid into him ( verbally ) , i called him a lorry driver term and told him to go away quick .

An hour later i was cruising down the m5 in dodgy weather , i was looking in my mirror when a Dutch driver decided to overtake me , he was on the cb to his mate who was in front of me , a young girl was travelling alongside him in the middle lane , she could see him indicating but couldn’t pull over to the fast lane , what did he do ? , he went straight out forcing her into the path of a fast moving bmw in the outside lane , Christ he nearly killed 3 people in two cars , all the while he was talking on his cb .

The young 20ish girl was visibly shaken i could see her , the dutch drivers then made the mistake of pulling in to Strensham services , me and the girl followed them in .
She went wondering over to them , i went tearing over to them , i gave the Dutch bloke a proper British lorry driver rollicking and the girl phoned the police , to say i was angry would be the understatement of the year , i went absolute nuts , it could have been my wife or daughter ,the police did nothing except take details ??

In fairness the Dutch lads are usually good drivers !.

    i have calmed down now :) !.

  6. We get this kind of crap at our place poptop. Drivers just dumping wagons with no consideration for anyone else, or leaving a unit so that it looks like its ready to go ie all the suzys connected, legs up etc, but the pin wont be engaged in the fifth wheel. so if you didnt check, youd drive off and the trailer would drop off the back. traffic office dont give a monkeys. i dont care much for my company.

I had a day like that a few weeks ago. :( It was me though really - everything that would normally have flowed off the duck's back hit home. :)
