FOR SALE (SOLD)T2d drop spindles and air assist set up

  1. I am selling my full drop spindle/air set up. This is complete and has everything needed to lower the front of your bus by 100mm and have the ability to adjust the suspension to suit.

The T2D kit aren’t welded spindles they are brand new items which mean this does not widen the track of the bus. As drop spindles go I think these are the best.

I have run a few setups to lower the bus and found this set up to be the best/most cost effective as the torsion springs in the beam are still supporting the weight of the bus but the air shocks just give the extra you need to make the ride as good as it can be. I found putting a small amount of pressure in didn’t raise the height as much as stiffen it to stop the wheels hitting the tubs.

It means you can run the bus low and lift it slightly to drive it normally and lift it high to get over anything. It also means when you have a full load on then you can put a bit extra in to account for the weight.

The kit comes with a compressor and dash mounted gauge/switch to control the amount of pressure and is easy to install if you are ok stripping the trailing arms out of your beam. It also includes all the pipe work and fittings. (Really is complete)

I also had adjusters in my beam which mean you can run even lower if you want but once I fitted this set up I had the beam at stock height.

The kit has been on my van for a couple of years but has probable only done approx 1k miles in summer and has always been garaged so it is pretty much as new.

I will supply it all labelled up so it is easy to install and it should be about a days work depending how your suspension strips down.

I have now decided to lift my bus and run big all terrain tyres hence why this is no longer needed.

I will add pictures of the kit later when I get home, the pics below as to show how the bus sat with this kit.

Also just to confirm no other mods are needed to the bus to fit this, it is bolt on and fully removable if you change your mind in the future.

I would like £1100 for the complete kit please and will ship at cost if required.

Any questions please just ask, cheers

  2. Pics of the suspension as I took it off at the weekend, I have not cleaned or painted anything so as you can see it’s all in great condition.

  3. Just to add the air shocks give a 100mm (4”) of lift which is also great to level the van out when camping ;)

  8. It is a really good set up for a lowered bus, after years if messing around and if being uncomfortable as buggery this worked really well
