FOR SALE SOLD - 1973 RHD good honest camper for sale

Discussion in 'Late Bay Classifieds' started by Robo, Oct 25, 2015.

  1. Having never sold one before its one of those & I'm kind of hoping I don't get a buyer until after techenders!

I've gone with the classified on eBay & will keep that going until we sell!

it's not easy to find on ebay.... i typed vw t2 camper - buy it now only yours doesn't appear.
  3. When I search exactly the same 'vw t2 camper' as you its the tenth one down on the first page! I suppose it depends on your previous search criteria, dunno just a guess if I'm honest I don't have a scooby doo!
  4. Cheers Mr Rubble!

  6. Cheers Mr Zed! We have anticipated not doing much camping this year and booked a couple of holidays abroad!

My ideal scenario would be to go April techenders in Molly then get her sold, take a bit of time to find what we want & be able to camp in some form at Sept techenders! (Probably like Ricky did last year)

This way both Mrs Robo & I are happy, the kids tend to go along with whatever we do lol

We originally bought Molly to see if we liked that style of mobile campervan camping as we always had a tent before & it appears we do but we also like a bit of Spanish sun too & a mixture of both is the long term plan!
  7. Is it wrong that I hope she doesn't sell before techenders so we can have one last camp in her

Am I allowed to start a wanted advert, stating that we are looking for a new custodian for our beloved Molly?

  8. Hi Robo - Good luck with your sale now that spring is on the way - note that you have your spare wheel on the roof rack - was thinking of putting mine up there - how easy/difficult do you find getting it up and down - and does it bounce about or make noises when driving ? Thanks

  11. I stand on the rear bumper for access & its held in place with bungee straps! The original metal roof bars have been replaced with stainless ones so nice & snug!

  12. Looks good - might do that with mine and get rid of the front mounted one

  13. Hey Robo... I've only just stumbled across this thread so belated good luck with the sale! Karen and I will be sorry to see you go, but Molly's a lovely bus, so we hope we get to meet you and the family again at T/E before she sells!
  14. Thanks fella but we're not going anywhere as techenders is on our doorstep we shall be in attendance even if we're in a cardboard box

When we bought Molly we knew nothing of the fantastic late bay community & have met some great people on the way!

Our needs have changed & although we really don't want to sell Molly we know she will get very little use! I'm happy to just use her for techenders and the odd camp out but our finances won't allow it

So in all that blurb as long as nothing gets in the way we shall be at techenders

    See you there
