People are too quick to buy body cuts, no questions asked. You see loads on here, as soon as a body cut post goes up everyone's on it like a fly round Marmite. Who is to say any of them are legitimate? I've sold loads of stuff over the years, including engines, I've never once been asked to prove I own any of it. Europes biggest importer of VW's is in NL so I wouldn't go so far as to say UK is the biggest market place. It does seem though that the rest of Europe doesn't appear to have the same level of theft going on. I firmly believe a lot of it is organised. For some bizarre reason people still fail to make the required checks on a vehicle. You often see cars for sale with no vin plate or even log book, you know the log books in the post etc etc. they only get nicked as there is a big enough market of suckers out there to buy them.
