id say £500 max. not that i know anything about the value of beetles. but judging on what else can be bought for £500. depening on what the chassis and floorpan looks like. if thats terrible and rotted away then less than £500.
if they are good i'd quite happily pay £500 for it. it may be a pain sourcing the 1 year only parts but hey-ho, all part of the fun. If i wasnt halfway through my bus and i had more money i'd be tempted. haha
a mate of mine bought a 67 one year only model a few months back he paid £800 for it. i had a look at it. it had been welded up not that pretty but would of moted without much work on it, which i told him to do but he has stripped it for a nut and bolt restore if this helps. if your looking for the most money on it break it or put it on ebay just after a big vw show.
I should probably correct my earlier valuation having looked at the photo's! 1 year bits all in tact, but from the photo's there's an obvious need for a spare wheel repair, the bottom of the A pillars have some rust staining and whilst it's hard to tell, there may be other parts. I'd probably concur with the others, £500 starting, maybe upwards to someone who really wants it.
No one yet malc, if I'm honest I thought it would be worth a bit more than £500-800 so I might just keep it and run it as a rat. Shouldn't cost me to much that way.
