  1. Where does this ludicrous figure come from. I cant believe that it cost that much to tender for the contracts and now us poor saps have to pay it back.
    No wonder were skint.

Fear not. I'm charging the government 56 million squid for stress caused by their incompetence in running the country thats causing me endless sleepless nights and having to justify all those random VW purchased bits off eBay like 2 Imai 1303 Beetle model kits for winter and a Revell Beetle model kit.

Hell I even looked at an Earlybay!!!!!

  4. Thanks for clearing that up Owen, i feel a like i,ve been ticked off now.:)

  5. Forgive me for being a bit arsey about this, but the public sector and their tendering policies inflict vast expense on bidders who want to participate in their 'fair' procurement processes and the bidders have to swallow all of these costs. I can tell you that there are less newsworthy but similar procurement screw ups all of the time, but without this kind of National exposure, bidders just have to take the costs on the chin, even if the purchasing side don't do their job properly.

  6. Owen, thanks for explaining, it seems that joe public is left in the dark about the rules imposed on the bidders. I,m a bits of wood and cheese person and dont understand all the shenanigans that go on behind the scenes but after reading your post I kind of get it. I still cant comprehend the figures when i,m cacking myself because my poll tax is due or i,m late with the gas bill though. I need to get in the real world,on second thoughts though!!
    K+ to you guv
