Yes... The Old Nag's Head. We once spent New Year's Eve there. It snowed like mad and they cancelled the last train home . Went back to the pub and some kind soul let us two and our dog sleep in their car - proper camping!

The people who own The Rambler down the road now have them both.

Cannot wait til Stig is on the road and we can start camping again! At the moment its camping in the garage alongside the bits of metal waiting to go in! :beer_yum:

 

Well, I can't camp this weekend so I'm going to head over to Edale for lunchtime Sunday and try and find the campers. Either way I expect to be lunching in the Nags Head

We just went camping in the hills matey. It wasn't an "event" as such, more like the chill room. lol

I swear all the camping gear in the back was in a different position from when i left

The bus pulled a lot better on the way home after me tweaking the carb so i was hoping it would retain idle but no such luck
Its a funny kind of problem to diagnose

 

Would I be right that you enjoy driving Para? Faster the better maybe's? I was jealous of your real working brakes.

 

Nah id rather be camping in the bus than driving it however you have to drive to places in it in order to camp in it lol
The drive out of edale was a little spirited compared to my normal driving

 

You get free road tax i get good brakes lol

Im shatterd today but my head wishes it was back at edale

 

Slept like a log last night with proper curtains lol

Im contemplating fitting it today but i really should unpack some more boxes and build some house furniture before i go and play with bus stuff

 

Glad you guys got back ok. Managed to pick a bargain up re camping gear on the way home and get my presentation written so me escapoing early was productive. Nice meeting you both (Zed again of course). Next time I hope to be slightly less lethargic and with a little more get up and go!
