Mrs Dubs is thinking of trying Smarty mobile, to save a few quid.. has anyone tried it? I know it’s on the Three network, which used to be awful, so has it got any better, coverage wise? Kind regards
It really depends on where you live - it used to be a lot more the case that out of big cities, the older networks that had some of the old 2G bands had better coverage (900MHz base stations have much longer ranges up to 35km, down to some of the 5G base stations only barely covering one end of a stand at a football ground) so it probably pays to look at coverage maps of where she wants to actually use the phone.
Im on smarty, think it piggy backs onto ee netweork, gets signal most places, no eorse than vadafone used to be, whenever i cant get a eignsl neither can most other people Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
If it does use the 3 network I can assure you things have improved massively - never had an issue in the last 5 years. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
