If your ignition switch dies - remember to park it facing down the way on a hill so you can bump it. When bumping remember to push it for a little while up to speed. Be prepared by having a second person have the bus in second gear with the clutch down and throttle on. When reached a little speed let the clutch out slowly whilst turning the key. Your running to get to home or a garage
Wow "handy hints and top tips", I love it, here's one...... some toothpaste and an elastic band make a great substitute for chewing gum. I use one of those osotnic drink bottles for topping up my oil, that little stopper function on the end prevents any spillage !
It's at the top of all technical drawings and is one of the greatest statements ever "If in doubt.......Ask" This is one forum where you can be assured of getting an answer ;D
Small tip.... If you need to run a cable from the front off the van to the back, run a multicore cable instead of a single one, as no doubt one day in the future the extra core(s) will be needed and already be in position. I have done this by running 4 lots of 4 core cables from the engine bay to the kickpanel (leaving slack at each end) and slowly I am using each core one by one fitting things like rev counters, oil gauges etc.
well it got a laugh if anything , small tipp put a skimm of grease on the face of you wheel nuts if you just painted the rims keep s the paint from being ripped fresh owen nw :
