Sliding door latches

    I’m dismantling this catch to see if the spring loaded lathes can replace the one broken in my lock…

    The pin is proving quite difficult to knock out…are these just really tight and I have to brute force it or am I missing some trick ?

    There’s a clip under the top, above the first lever, you’ll knock the top off the bracket if it’s not removed

    One of them has the hook part broken off... its something you spotted at the first techenders earlier in the year....

    Took a punt on the T25 sliding door mech for a tenner at Biggar earlier on the year… all internal bits seem the same … broken latch and spring identical …

    Just need to find a blow up of the mechanism now to see exactly where the little washer fits…

    Found a blow-up but it doesnt seem to show the small flat washer ... anyone had this apart and know the place it fits in at all ?

    aye, just that when I slid the 2 latches and spring out first time I finished with a washer on my lap.... when I paid more attention second time around I finished with a washer on my lap...
