Sliding Door Inner Bottom Panel

Discussion in 'Panels, seals, doors etc' started by tonyb, Nov 13, 2017.

  1. Anyone used the Schofields panel? I read that the JK one isn't a good fit. Any recommendations? Need to repair the bottom of my slider.

I suspect they're the same panel. Mine from Schofields is a klokker panel. It's a bit thin but I only needed a small section of it anyway. It wasn't too bad to fit

Schofields make their own outer and it’s the best one to buy, the JK one was always the wrong shape, only klokker make the inner aa far as I know

  5. OK. Been advised to use Auto Craft outer panel. Will have a look at Schofields.

I'd add that the autocraft outer panel was a great fit too. Not fitted the Schofield outer for comparison but seemed to follow the curve of the van perfectly

I've used inner and outer from Schofields, inner was a klocker but fitted well, outer was perfect.

  8. The bottom inner is the same lhd or rhd so a cut of the inner off a solid lhd and tall outer repair panel make a nice repair. Just need to weld in the captive nuts for bottom roller
