Sliding door curtain rail

  1. Hi all
I'm currently fixing up my new curtain rail. Only prob is the bit which goes on to the sliding door opening. At the moment it has a piece of rubber running around. If I take this off it only has a small bit of tin roughly 10mm wide to fix to.

Just wondering what other folks have done to get around this and if a phot could be popped up, it would be a real help.

    Thanks in advance

    Ian

I will be popping a bit up in the resto section soon

We just done the same thing. Yes its very thin and you just have to work slowly and make it grab where you can. We Drilled through one part of the metal and then screwed through a little and then unscrewed cut the screws down then re-screwed them.

I don't have any pics of our one but did take photos of other peoples at van fest so we knew what to do with ours. WIll have a look see if I have them with me.

    Is it Silent Gliss?

I've got a Westfalia and the curtain rail runs along the top bit around the slider.
