So this is the winter run-around. Was cheap as chips to pick up with 12months MOT. 1.3 so cheap tax also! Not the prettiest thing to the eyes, but hey. Its a winter car.
My daughter's mum's got a skoda, seems just like a golf and pretty good quality. One of the hidden bargains I reckon mate! Cheers s

those 1.3 skodas still have the old rear engine skoda engine fitted a great little engine with a alloy block and head v/tuneable was fitted to to old class wining rally cars and take some hammer but a word of warning keep a eye on coolant level and make sure antifreeze is correct strenght before winter sets in as they can have coolant issues being a wet liner engine
