I have a single mount ariel to fit, but after looking at my options, I might just fit a dab. The current ariel is broken and the mount/main body of the ariel is loose. I would like to tighten it up and leave it in situ instead of replacing. But I can't get my fingers round the back to do anything. Anybody got any helpful tips? I need to at least tighten it so there is no water ingress.

Is it on the bulge or further down on front panel?
Bulge ones tighten outside - the small nut on the top.
Panel ones have 2 nuts inside - one around aerial socket and smaller one below to keep them straight.

Yes you can - someone fitted it. ;) Mine's 2-3" lower which probably makes it easier.

yes but they might have been a spindly fingered old witch. i will try. My fingers are large.

all i want to do is tighten it up . It twists around at present, so i want to make sure it is solid and not letting water in.

Mine looks identical and has an extra nut on a stud at the bottom to stop it spinning, yours might be broken off?
