I have been given a set of standard VW wheels from a 1984 T25, are they the same as the ones on my 1976 bay? They look the same!
They are the same and bolt straight on with no mods, the hole in the centre is a different shape but makes no difference to fitment
hmm we had a 5 x 112 wheel that would not fit the rear - it had a round hole which was slightly smaller than the boss thing on the hub, dunno what that was from then!!
could we get it to fit, could we heck!! we binned it in the end, dont think it was a VW wheel in the end
Quick update! My current wheels have the 'star' shaped hole in the middle (checked today at the restorers). I am collecting the T25 wheels tomrrow so will check when I go back to help next weekend. The T25 wheels are in better condition and require less work hence the reason for wanting to swap.
