A rubber mallet and a long length of wood underneath helped

Thank you for the advice , I thought I’d finished all the welding on the bay but sadly and not surprisingly found a tad more in this area. Unlike the other areas I’m hoping I don’t open a cam of worms . These pics help me to see what should be there . Thanks again .

 

I had a very hard to find internal leak. It was caused by a cheeky small hole hiding under the cover!

that was 6 years ago, im sure there is some rust there now!
